“My soul is here for its own joy.”

This morning in yoga, my teacher shared a line from Rumi:
“My soul is here for its own joy.”
I have been carrying it with me all day. For me, my soul sparks awake when I create beauty, and when I practice walking, living, and presencing in beauty. It feels like an ongoing dialogue with the Universe.
I wonder, what does it mean to you that your soul is here for its own joy?
Last year I set a quiet, clear intention to collaborate more deeply with fellow seekers and artists through the many rivers that feed the Well, and through the roots of the Mycelium Trust.
To listen as a way of becoming. I am simply following the momentum in the current of creation.
Working with Kit at BeHealable continues to be a steady force of possibility. And even with Cole now in Chicago studying fashion design at the Art Institute, our creative collaboration continues to grow through the Mycelium Trust and the Creative Warrior network.
Distance has not limited us. It has invited new forms.
In our monthly WellWork Webinars, I invited Tabitha Benedict, Seana Zelaza, Ilse Verkaaik, and Oana Tanase to co-create this 12 month cycle. Each month carries a different theme.Next week, on Thursday February 19, Seana and I will explore a timely topic: Moral Courage, You Have What It Takes. The circle keeps widening, and you are warmly invited to join us and strengthen this growing global community:

On March 21, Cole and I will offer an in person workshop in Higham, MA: Making and Meaning, Form and Reverence. This is one of many live offerings we are preparing as part of the Creative Warrior Curriculum.

This winter I have also been immersed in the Seeing With Your Heart community and in the Generational Alchemy Course. I entered this space to give myself a living structure for writing and shaping The 9 Ways of the Well, my signature WellWork offering, in community.
Soon, I will begin offering The 9 Ways of the Well to individuals, small groups, and larger circles. It is a pilgrimage around the Well, cultivating our inner resources through nine ancient human pathways: intention and meditation, body, movement, breath, sound and song, story and myth, expression, ritual, and ceremony.
A living arc from arrival to integration. A return to the source within YOU.
These teachings will also live inside the Creative Warrior Collective curriculum, and I can feel how they will travel, into organizations and schools where future Creative Warriors gather.
In March, I will bring WellWork Rituals to NASC and offer a workshop for the North American Systemic Constellation community. I am excited and curious to share this playful way of exploring the field with professional constellators. Traveling with my 81 large FIT cards and my drum feels like a pilgrimage toward becoming.

And speaking of becoming, two weeks ago we created a special initiation ritual for Brenda Cotto-Escalera. I am deeply grateful that she answered the call to serve as Director of the Creative Warrior Collective. Her devotion and professional experience will help hold and strengthen this growing vision, alongside all the Creative Warriors, facilitators, sponsors, and lovers who are helping usher this work into the world.
We are actively working on the website, and soon you will see all of this reflected online as the pieces come together. Please stay tuned.
As we follow what wants to emerge, planning far ahead has been a gentle challenge. We are preparing in person gatherings for when the weather warms. We have had so much snow here in Hingham and Nantucket this winter. As I write, I can feel the world slowly beginning to thaw.
Just like so many of these offerings, may our love and intentions melt together into crystallized strength.
We are the weavers of all guides’ efforts to be embodied. May we walk and create beauty together. Santjes and the WellWork team
