Mycelium Trust is a 52-week visual dialogue between five Creative Warriors.
A visual pilgrimage.
A circle of response and resonance.
What it looks like:

Week 1 and Week 52 – A collaborative send-off and return

The 50 weeks in between – A steady rotation. Every five weeks, each Warrior sends a 5x5" visual response to a central address
Each creation responds to a teaching cue offered by Santjes and the offering of the previous Warrior.
Imagine: when it’s your turn, you step into the center of the wheel. Around you, the other four hold their positions, anchoring, witnessing, inspiring. You are not alone in the making. This is a web of trust, a creative field where support is woven through time, intention, and response.
This is a practice of deep listening and co-creation. A dialogue of dreaming and weaving that will grow stronger as the year unfolds.
Co-inspired by something beyond ourselves, this project invites spiritual discipline and artistic devotion. We are each other’s witnesses in time, commitment, attention, and presence. A structure will emerge to invite the larger world to witness this unfolding a living archive of connection, creativity, and trust.
Through love and vision we integrate our experiences.
May we trust that what we will create belongs to the story of the world.

THE COMMITMENT
Through our commitments to time and each other we create on ongoing visual ceremony an act of Activism to stay connected.
We translating the gifts of transition. The supportive field we create will strengthen over time as we engage in this dialogue of dreaming and weaving together.
Each Monday we will post what the warriors have created for that week.
We invite and encourage those who see these posts to comment their reactions, feelings, or thoughts that come up when they see the post.
We will take these comments and integrate them here.
MYCELIUM TRUST #1 - COLE
Being the first warrior to send a letter in this project felt like a responsibility and a privilege to begin and help cultivate something beautiful.
When creating, I thought about the 5 warriors and how they each represented themselves. I tried to include and embody them in my work.

Uriel: Hermano, los Drawing son absolutamente hermosos, esta fue una verdadera obra de arte, amigo mío. All the characters have so much depth to them, makes me wonder so many questions. Who are these guys, what are they planning to do. I love how every turn you make to them they look different. Caring so much beauty and energy to it. This is a piece of art brother. Santjes: Cole Geurroro I love how you created worlds with in the 5,5x5.5 world and how there is so much room for everyone doing there own thing together and curious to explore the edges and willing to go overboard .

MYCELIUM TRUST #2 - Uriel
Beautiful friends, here is my art piece for my week. I have made a living testimonial reminder to the self and to the person who comes across this. The truth is all inside my brothers and sister! I was motivated to create a piece i reclaimed in my dreams. It framed absolutely perfect in my mind and thought to share it with this world.

Cole: Wow, Brother, this is amazing. I love the use of the singular color blue - it really transports me into a time / message / era / emotion that is beautiful and expressive. I’m inspired by your use of the circles to highlight the different thoughts / themes. It seems like they are circling the subject, creating a loop or a cycle that can change increible things - the weather, the mood, life around us. Magnificent my friend, truly beautiful.

Cole: This is a beautiful creation, Gary, I love your use of both the paper and canvas. Reiterating how you connect the threads of the different worlds, mediums, and times.I get inspiration to back to when we were all children, enjoying the stars and beauty of the simple child world. 另外 In connection with the more aligned, strategical lines that we learn as we grow older.
Ureil: Garret you have captured such a treasure right here. From the visuals to the words. It was exactly like a thread holding all together. Garrett: Wow! This is incredible! So intricate and meticulous. I can see your intention with every stitch
Uriel: So much beauty in this work, the middle looking like stars from the night sky but also life of butterflies flowing through the air. This wheel of life representing the source which is within and around is the vastness of the universe keeping everything intact. It reminds me of the wheel for We’llWork. Beautiful said, you have indeed captured the rawness of your love to the longing of this world
Cole: what a peaceful creation Santjes - I love the universalness of this art, it seems to loop and tie together each and all aspects of our diverse world into one 5x5 canvas! The colors you chose remind me of crayons and childhood, transporting me back to a time where the external aspects of life were not as important as they are now. I notice the stitch you did around the outside, it makes me think of a chain link of sorts and I’m curious to learn how you stitched it.

One thing about the Msycilium trust project is we get to see each warriors journey into our eye view, each time a warriors goes a new direction, path, idea, goal, and vision is placed on the battlefield for us to observe, and learn from.

Hello beautiful warriors, today I send a message to the cosmos. We woven our threads together. We have pushed through the limit and light the path for the next generation. I created two sections for the mind to escape and perform its truth. Connecting back with a previous warrior soul. I hold the torch to guide the next. To remind what true power can be achieved!

Unity: I see love spirals in alignment, I feel love spirals in alignment, I am love spiral.
Magic happening, flowers bloom when pest & past is reconciled in our prescense together woven in heart and mind regardless of where our vessels may be steered. It all points up, it all points to us & healing.
Love preserving through mental & physical fog, days may feel grey but there is sunshine in the smallest places. I gave a piece of me to give to us, but it’s okay, I am regenerative. Peace in being, purpose in our past, our togetherness fuels me.

Unity: artistry isn’t on demand it just is, capitalism tears its many hands into the raw purity of being, as being reaches back ready to pull any and all adversary back into presence. Feeling blue, good things it’s just a color, a beautiful one, fractalized into many shades and hues of the same base, the neural net weaves trust between us
Cole: Wow, Gary, once again you blow us away with your talent and mind. Immediately when I saw this it reminded me of your apartment in Boston, the style of typography, the hands melting together, and the different swatches seem so familiar yet distant... It's interesting the timing of this as yesterday I ended up right on your street, looking up to your apartment where you used to stay. Now, I must face this uncertainty and step into my unknown. I will do this with power, patience, discipline, and love that the world and mycelium network supports.

Santjes: My contribution to our Myscilium Trust
We are woven out of each other.
The red thread is the constant: it connects our Brilliance.
Ureil: This is oddly familiar, I’m loving the way these all connect, makes me question of the tread ever ends. I appreciate how strange and messy the treads are, maybe portraying how unknow each path is!
Cole: but This reminds me of a trece through the desert, with stops along the way to mind the lands, absorbing the riches of the land. I enjoy that there are multiple direction, reinforcing the idea that the mycelium transcends in multiple different dimensions
Unity: I see the neural net of connectivity points, and the connections between them. Us, and the connections between us, a unified state, suspended, in the canvas of creations,golden of heart, and mind, spirit, and soul, hidden, beneath the spiral, of our red bloody flesh, and the separations, in day to day living, I still see a path for us,

Dear warriors, my creation for this week. In my time here I have lost and discovered my footing many times. This feeling is not individual to me, there are others with the same and ever more difficult battles. I wanted to call attention to it as it can affect all 4 dimension of ourselves.
