Making & Meaning, Form & Reverence With Cole Ackerman & Santjes Oomen

We gather not to learn how to be creative, but to remember that making is already a sacred act — and that ritual is what restores meaning to what we make.

About the event

A one-day workshop for Creative Warriors —This is one-day, in-person immersion for those who live at the edge of expression— and for the partners, friends, collaborators, and quiet supporters who help hold the field around them.

The Creative Warrior is the one who feels called to make. To shape what is invisible into form. To bring something through that did not exist before.

And those who support them are the steady ground, the listening presence, the witness, the encouragement, the love that allows the work to happen.

This day honors both.

We gather not to learn how to be creative, but to remember that making is already a sacred act — and that ritual is what restores meaning to what we make.

This day is devoted to the relationship between what we make and how we honor it.

Between the Creative Warrior and the circle that stands with them.

Between solitude and community.

Between form and reverence.

We gather to remember that making is already sacred — and that sharing in community is what gives it meaning.
